Violent Protests In NYC over Jordan Neely Death v.s. Murder
Sad, yes. But murder? No.
You likely have see videos of ‘mostly peaceful’ protests happening in New York City. That’s because the Democrat-Media cabal is working overtime to turn an unfortunate incident into the next racially-motivated murder.
Here are the facts…
How it went down: On a Monday afternoon, Jordan Neely, a 30-year-old homeless man boarded a subway train in New York City and began aggressively shouting at passengers that, “I’ll hurt anyone on this train” and that he was “ready to die.”
That’s when an unnamed 24-year-old Marine veteran restrained Neely, putting him in a chokehold and wrestling him to the ground.
It should be noted that up until this point, there was no video footage. The story was corroborated by several train passengers.
Video of the incident shows the Marine was assisted by at least one other subway passenger as they try to subdue Neely, who was trying to break free.
About three minutes into the video, Neely seems to go unconscious, and the Marine gets off of him. He and the second passenger then put him on his side so he doesn’t choke, at the recommendation of another passenger as they wait for the police.
One eye-witness, Juan Alberto-Vasquez, who captured the video, said “None of us were thinking that Neely could die from it” and “he was moving and defending himself.”
What do we know about Jordan Neely? While Democrats have been circulating a nearly 10-year-old video of him dancing as a Michael Jackson impersonator to try and paint him in a positive light, the truth is he has an extensive criminal history. He’s been arrested more than 40 times for crimes including several assaults. As recently as February 23 a warrant was issued for his arrest for “felony assault.”
The marine was questioned by NYPD after the incident and discharged. Since then, political figures and activists have called for him to be charged with murder.
The racial component: Neely is a black man and the Marine is white. Despite the second passenger, helping to subdue Neely also being black, the media and Democrat politicians have attempted to make this about race.
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez tweeted: “Jordan Neely was murdered.”
Rep. Ayanna Pressley tweeted: “He was 30 years old. Black men deserve to grow old—not be lynched on a Subway because they were having a mental health crisis.”
The New York Times published an article with the headline: “Making People Uncomfortable Can Now Get You Killed”
…evil.
To his credit, NYC Mayor Eric Adams responded to the Democrat Reps, saying: “I don’t think that’s very responsible at the time where we’re still investigating the situation. Let’s let the DA conduct his investigation… To really interfere with that is not the right thing to do.”
Will there be charges? The NYC medical examiner has ruled the death a homicide. So it’s now up to radical Soros-funded DA Alvin Bragg [yes, the guy who charged Donald Trump] to decide if he will charge the Marine. So my guess is… Yes, he will be charged.
If you are in NYC maybe avoid the subway these days, because in Manhattan on a daily basis you just might have to deal with the mentally ill and drug addicted who, as the NY Times puts it, are “making people uncomfortable.” And it’s a tragedy that Neely died. But when the city abdicates its duty to protect citizens, the natural outcome is that citizens will be forced to protect themselves. So when a crazed man threatened a train full of innocent people, this Marine stepped up to protect them.

📍#Manhattan / #NewYork
The death of Jordan Neely has been one of controversy, with many labeling it as murder and others as self-defense.
We are CURRENTLY seeing protests spark across Manhattan, many resulting in violence.
Neely, a homeless Black man in New York, has ignited a firestorm of outrage following his death. Such incidents often become battlefields for political ideologies, with each side attempting to exploit the situation to further their own agendas.
In this case, Neely was choked to death by a white subway rider, prompting the left to express anger and frustration over the lack of an arrest. However, omitted from their narrative was the presence of two other individuals, one of whom was a black man, restraining Neely. The right seized upon this information to argue that Neely’s death was unrelated to race.
While it is crucial to address systemic issues that perpetuate disparities, it is equally imperative to guard against political movements exploiting these incidents for their own political gain.
Was Neely’s death racially motivated or is the situation being abused to advance certain agendas?
