SPY BALLOON DEFLATES AFTER NARRATIVE FALLS FLAT
The Chinese spy balloon that was allowed to fly across the United States did successfully gather intelligence from sensitive U.S. military sites and transmit it back to Beijing, despite the Biden regime’s efforts to block it.
Americans got their first glimpse of the balloon when it was spotted over Montanna on February 1. However, the Biden regime was aware since at least January 28, when it was tracked over Alaska, but chose to let it joy-ride from Montana to South Carolina before shooting it down on February 4.
The breach of our national security was confirmed to NBC News by two current senior U.S. officials and one former senior administration official.
They revealed that:
China was able to remotely control the drone, allowing it to do multiple pass-overs of U.S. military sites, and at times flew in figure-eight formations.
That information was transmitted back to China in real-time.
What did it collect?
The balloon wasn’t collecting video or photo images.
Instead, it picked up electronic signals from our weapons systems and communication between U.S. military personnel on these bases.
Did the regime lie to us?
At the time, the Biden Department of Defense told us it was no big deal that the balloon was flying across the United States because they had taken “immediate steps to protect against the balloon’s collection of sensitive information, mitigating its intelligence value.”
…so they either lied to us or failed at mitigation. Or both.
