The two prosecutors leading the Manhattan district attorney’s witch hunt against former President Trump abruptly resigned yesterday. This comes after they mysteriously paused the presentation of evidence to a grand jury roughly one-month ago.

The Manhattan DA originally accused Trump of illegally inflating the value of his assets to obtain favorable bank loans.

What changed? The two prosecutors, Carey R. Dunne and Mark F. Pomerantz, resignations come after new Manhattan DA, Alvin Bragg, expressed doubts about moving forward with the case.

…sounds like the new DA realizes that the charges won’t stand up in court.

It’s important to note that this investigation is separate from the parallel investigation being done by New York Attorney General Letitia James, who is also investigating whether Trump inflated the value of his assets.

But there’s one HUGE difference:
The Manhattan DA could have criminally charged Trump

Letitia James doesn’t have that authority. She can only sue him.
