Mandates, Misinformation, and a 3rd Booster, oh my

Remember a few weeks back when a CDC slide ‘leaked’ that said the Delta variant “is as transmissible as: – Chicken Pox”? It was front-page news everywhere, and another way to try and scare the hell out of people.

Well, that CDC slide was inaccurate. And this isn’t me saying it. Left-wing news outlet NPR fact-checked the claim and found: “It’s not true.” Turns out it’s not even close to the 90% transmissibility of chickenpox.

Just another reason to distrust the CDC.

BIDEN PLANS TO PUSH NEW COVID ‘BOOSTER’ VACCINE

Joe Biden plans to push Americans to receive a third Covid vaccine “booster” as early as mid-September, according to a report by the New York Times which cites two administration officials. The article says the Biden administration believes Americans will need additional protection against the Delta variant that is causing surging caseloads across the nation

Back up: It was just weeks ago that the CDC said: “Americans who have been fully vaccinated do not need a booster shot at this time” and added that the fully vaccinated are protected “from the variants currently circulating the country such as Delta.”

Let’s talk about the ‘surging caseloads’ that the Biden administration is citing as the reason for a vaccine “booster”…

👾 Mid-January of 2021 is when Covid numbers peaked. Here was the highest daily:

New cases: roughly 251,000
Deaths: 4,305
A ratio of 1.7 deaths for every 100 cases

👾 Today, the daily ‘surging caseloads’ Biden cites as the reason for the booster, look like this:

New cases: roughly 135,000
Deaths: 537
A ratio of 0.4 deaths for every 100 cases

So while cases are ‘surging’, people are not dying. That’s because the elderly and immunocompromised are already vaccinated. In addition, we have developed an arsenal of therapeutics to help treat people who are infected.
