JOE BIDEN HYPOCRITE IN CHIEF
The Biden regime announced that it will require all travelers from China to test negative for Covid-19 before getting on their flights headed for the United States.
The new policy comes despite Biden in 2020 calling Trump’s travel restrictions on China “xenophobic.”
Back up: After weeks of intense protest and riots by the Chinese people over the country’s strict Covid lockdown policies, the Communist Party finally loosened restrictions and re-opened its borders to allow citizens to travel. This has led to a sharp rise in Covid cases.
The CDC said it’s concerned about China’s “lack of adequate and transparent” data about the current outbreak. It also wants to minimize the spread of unknown new variants that may be coming out of China.
This will go into effect on January 5. Which seems bizarre. If the risk is so dire, why not shut it down immediately?
This comes after half of the Chinese travelers to Italy tested positive for Covid.
Hypocrit-in-Chief:
I seem to recall a certain kid-sniffing creep saying it was “xenophobic” when then-President Donald Trump shut down travel from China in the early days of the pandemic, in an attempt to slow the spread of Covid-19.
In March 2020: Trump tweeted praise for his own “early decision” to “close the borders from China”. Joe Biden responded to Trump’s tweet, calling it: “xenophobic fear-mongering.”
In May 2020: Biden said Trump’s travel restrictions were “denials, delays, and distractions, many of which were nakedly xenophobic.”
