GOOGLE PROMOTES LEFT-WING MEDIA TWENTY TIMES MORE THAN CONSERVATIVE MEDIA
An analysis done by AllSides, a non-partisan news aggregator, found that Google News showed “strong left-leaning political bias” on its homepage.
Let’s set the table before we dive in:
AllSides is a news outlet that assesses the political bias of media outlets and presents news stories from both the right and left.
Google News pulls articles from different news sites and puts them on one homepage.
So you’ll see CNN’s coverage of a topic right next to Fox News’ coverage of another.
Here’s what AllSides found:
Over a 5-day period, Allsides looked at the sources Google News used on its homepage.
It found:
61% were left-wing
3% were right-wing
…that’s 20x more left-wing sources than right.
It gets worse.
In the five days leading up to the 2022 midterm elections, if you searched the term “elections”,
Google News presented:
88% from left or left-leaning outlets
0% from right or right-leaning outlets

Absolute trash. (that would be a great name for a newspaper or leftist news website)
