FORMER FBI AGENT CONFIRMS THAT THERE WERE UNDERCOVER AGENTS EMBEDDED ON JAN 6 IN DC
It was revealed that the FBI confirmed there were undercover agents embedded within the crowd and inside the Capitol building on January 6. The revelations came during a hearing on hearing for the House Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government.
The hearing was focused on examining the FBI’s abuse of its power and featured testimony from three bureau whistleblowers.
Fed-surrection: During the hearing, Republicans played video testimony from George Hill, who served as a supervisory intelligence analyst for the FBI’s Boston Field Office (BFO). Hill explained that the Washington Field Office (WFO) asked BFO to investigate 140 individuals who traveled to D.C. from Massachusetts to attend Trump’s rally on January 6, 2021.
Hill testified that when the BFO asked for surveillance footage to help their investigation, the WFO refused because: “There may be UCs, undercovers, or CHSes, confidential human sources, and we need to protect their identities.”
Note that in 2022 when FBI Director Christopher Wray testified before Congress he was asked if there were undercover agents in the crowd and he replied: “I have to be very careful about what I can say… about when we do and do not, or where we have or have not used confidential human sources.”
