ELON MUSK CONFIRMS TWITTER HAS INTERFERED IN ELECTIONS

Elon Musk, the new owner and CEO of Twitter, confirmed that Twitter has interfered with elections in the past.

The details: The bombshell revelation came in response to a Reuters article posted on Twitter that claimed “Twitter not safer under Elon Musk, saying former head of trust and safety.”

Musk responded:

“The obvious reality, as long-time users know, is that Twitter has failed in trust & safety for a very long time and has interfered in elections. Twitter 2.0 will be far more effective, transparent and even-handed.”

Back up: While we don’t know what sort of interference Musk is referring to, you may recall in the closing days before the 2020 presidential election, Twitter censored the bombshell New York Post report that Hunter Biden’s abandoned laptop revealed troves of e-mails linking Joe Biden and his son to shady business deals with America’s enemies.

In coordination with Twitter’s censorship, former “intelligence officials” wrote a letter claiming the Hunter laptop was “Russian disinformation.”

…so there’s certainly public information to back up Musk’s claim. But I hope that he plans to elaborate on his claim of election interference.

In related news: Shortly after Musk’s tweet, the European Union announced it was considering banning Twitter in member states unless Musk resumes content moderation.

I’m sure the timing was just a coincidence…
