If you thought Biden’s border crisis was bad in 2021 – buckle up, because 2022 looks like it could be even worse.

Federal court documents, obtained by Fox News, show that the Department of Homeland Security encountered 153,941 illegal immigrants on the southern border in January 2022 (last month).

For perspective:
2021 had 78,414 illegal immigrants
2020 had 36,585 illegal immigrants
2019 had 58,317 illegal immigrants

Of those 153,941 illegals that were encountered last month, 62,573 were released into the U.S.
That’s almost the entire total of encounters in 2021.

In related news: Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was bragging in a live stream about how she helped “huge amounts” of illegal immigrants get stimulus checks last year. This exacerbates the border crisis. It sends a signal to the world that if you can get here, AOC has a check waiting for you.

January is usually a very slow month for border crossings. But if this figure is any indication, the border crisis is about to get even worse in Biden’s second year.
