The Biden regime’s Department of Education announced that it plans to modify the language in Title IX in order to include sexual orientation and gender identity.

Back up: Title IX was signed into law in 1972 by Richard Nixon prohibiting sex-based discrimination in schools or education programs that receive federal funding. The law opened up opportunities for girls and women to receive scholarships in sports and academics.

How Biden wants to skew Title IX: His plan is to take the language that was originally intended to protect from sex-based discrimination and redefine ‘sex’ to include sexual orientation and gender identity. In other words:

It will force schools to allow boys to participate in girls’ sports.

It will force schools to allow boys to use girls’ locker rooms.

It will force schools staff and teachers to use a student’s preferred pronouns

Team USA track athlete Cynthia Monteleone slammed the Biden regime, saying:

“Let’s just face it, the administration’s ruling on Title IX just puts a nail in the coffin in the death of female sports… when it comes down to it, it’s a body versus a body, and both science and common sense tell us there is an advantage of a male body over a female body.”

Fox News’ Dana Perino made a strong point about the Biden rule change:

“They’re erasing gender and women from the statute. So it’s like you don’t even need a statute anymore. They’re basically saying on the 50th anniversary of Title IX, let’s just do away with it because you don’t need women’s sports.”
